About Lapis Lazuli
Unlike many gemstones, Lapis Lazuli isn't a single mineral but a rock composed primarily of blue Lazurite, often with Pyrite and Calcite. Together, these minerals create its signature combination of saturated blue, metallic golden flecks, and occasional natural white veining.
Lapis Lazuli has been treasured for thousands of years, particularly by ancient civilizations that used it for jewelry, carvings, and ceremonial objects. Ancient Egypt prized the stone extensively, and Lapis famously appears in the iconic funerary mask of Tutankhamun.
Long connected with wisdom, truth, intuition, and self-expression, Lapis Lazuli is associated with the Third Eye and Throat Chakras and remains a symbol of trusting your inner knowing and communicating with authenticity.
Each Grade A Lapis Lazuli Freeform is one of a kind and sold individually. Available in four sizes. Natural variations in blue color, Pyrite flecking, Calcite veining, shape, and mineral patterning make every piece uniquely its own.
