Deep forest green and hypnotic black orbs give Kambaba Jasper an almost primordial appearance, with swirling formations that resemble an ancient landscape captured in stone.
About Kambaba Jasper
Found in Madagascar and also known as Crocodile Jasper, Kambaba has a fascinating geological identity. For years, its circular patterns were widely described as ancient fossilized algae or stromatolites. Mineral analysis, however, points to a different story: Kambaba is a silica-rich rock containing quartz and dark amphibole minerals rather than the fossilized material its appearance suggests.
Even its name is somewhat misleading—Kambaba isn't a traditional jasper. Those mysterious, almost biological-looking formations are part of the rock itself, making its extraordinary appearance all the more intriguing.
Connected with grounding, tranquility, nature, and inner wisdom, Kambaba is often chosen for its deeply earthy, calming character.
Each Kambaba Jasper pocket stone is priced individually and carefully selected for its natural color, patterning, and quality.
